The IPL 2023 champions, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), paid a visit to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple on Tuesday while carrying the golden trophy. The shrine is located at Venkatnarayana Road, T Nagar, Chennai. The trophy was sent directly to the TTD temple from Chennai International Airport.
CSK representatives were warmly welcomed inside the main temple complex by AJ Sekhar Reddy, the chairman of TTD’s Tamil Nadu and Puducherry local advisory council, former chairman Sri Krishna, and other members. They also offered their congratulations. The IPL 2023 trophy was reverently positioned at Lord Venkateswara’s feet, and ceremonies were held. At the temple complex, a sizable crowd of fervent CSK supporters gathered to view the trophy that the Tamil Nadu club had joyously won.
